Vending machines usually hold snacks or drinks. This one dispenses antique books.
Customers can pay $3 to use the one-of-a-kind machine, called the Biblio-Mat, that lives at the back of a bookstore on Bloor St. W. in Toronto.
Owner of The Monkey’s Paw, Stephen Fowler, is picky about what books he puts in the machine. He says customers are truly getting something old and unusual.
And it’s still cheaper than a single ride on the TTC.
Watch above for your inside look at the Biblio-Mat.
