It’s time to show our support for women with International Women’s Day at Ryerson! Head to the Podium on March 8 to attend events aimed at empowering women. The day includes a mentoring event, a panel discussion, a breakout room, and more. Check out the Ryerson Events website for the full schedule.   

Oakham Community Theatre Presents ARTIFICE

Any theatre fans? Check out ARTIFICE, a festival put on by the Oakham Community Theatre, at Native Earth Performing Arts’ Aki Studio from March 14 to 17. In the mood for music and dancing? Musicians@Ryerson’s annual Battle of the Bands returns for its sixth battle this year at the Mattamy Athletic Centre on March 23.  Discover new musical talent as six Ryerson bands take part in the challenge to win the grand prize. Tickets cost $6.

Do you prefer merchandise made by hand? The One of a Kind Spring Show and Sale at the Enercare Centre is where you need to be. From March 28 to April 1, artisans will exhibit and sell their handmade products in sections such as the Marketplace section. Take a look at the show’s site for more information.
