TOM* 2017 in Photos: “Life is a Runway”

(By: Jessica Tucciarone)

Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM*) gives established and emerging men’s fashion designers the opportunity to showcase their collections in our vibrant city. With this year’s theme being ‘Life is a Runway,’ the collections ranged from high fashion to pieces that the everyday working man might wear.

The growing debate about sustainability in the fashion community was certainly reflected in collections and events throughout the week, including at the opening event that took place at Ryerson. The event, TOM* Talks: EcoSessions, explored the theme of collaborative consumption in fashion and discussed moving towards more sustainable high fashion without sacrificing quality and style.

With Toronto fashion weeks coming to a close this weekend, it’s the perfect time to look back and reflect on the collections and atmosphere at this year’s events.
