If you’re looking for a festival that will introduce you to new music and surround you in positive energy, Summerdaze music festival is the one for you.
The festival aims to bring people with a shared love for music, art, culture and various kinds of food together in Toronto’s most unique venues for a series of shows throughout the summer. Kicking off its fifth, and biggest, season, Summerdaze’s first show on May 15 now includes Bedouin, a Brooklyn-based duo, Oliver Dollar, a Berlin based record producer, house music DJ Marques Wyatt and a live disco performance from Mainline. These artists will entertain fans at Toronto’s Steam Whistle Brewery.
In phase two of the festival on June 4, HITO (ENTER.), a Berlin-based electronic music artist, will be playing at Sunnyside Pavilion. Following that on June 25, HOJ (All Day I Dream), a house and techno artist, will board the Kajama Sunset Sail, a boat cruise in Toronto.
The last leg of phase two will be held on September 11 and will feature Nick Curly & Friends who will be back playing at the Steam Whistle Brewery.
The artists playing during phase three have yet to be announced.
The festival has previously hosted artists such as Apollonia, YokoO and Mario Basanov.
