5 Ways to Make This Easter Your Best Ever

With Easter weekend fast approaching, you may be wondering what types of things you can do in the city with your friends and family. As you make your long weekend plans, consider some of the festive events mentioned below.

1) Toronto Beaches Easter Parade

The Toronto Beaches Lions Club is holding its annual Easter parade Sunday, March 27. This two-hour parade features floats, marching bands, and an appearance from the Easter bunny. The parade begins at Queen Street and Munro Park and ends at Woodbine Avenue.

2) Easter Brunch at Casa Loma

Casa Loma will be hosting an Easter Brunch on March 27, which offers a wide selection of gourmet food made with local ingredients. The general admission price is $60, while admission for children 13 and under costs $45. After the brunch, guests are welcome to explore the castle at their leisure. 3) Easter Sweets and Chocolate Tour


Taking place on March 27, the Easter Sweets and Chocolate Tour is a guided walking tour that celebrates both Easter and chocolate. The tour visits chocolate shops in Kensington Market, allowing participants to taste samples and talk with chocolatiers. On this tour, you will learn about chocolate and the origins of some popular Easter treats. Vegan, gluten-free and nut-free options are available. The cost for adults is $33, and kids are $20.

4) Easter Flower Show at Allan Gardens Conservatory


Check out the Easter flower show at the Allan Gardens Conservatory, which features a variety of hydrangeas, as well as Easter lilies and bulbs. The show runs daily for three to four weeks, ending after Easter.

5) Bunny Hop Toronto

Although this festive pub-crawl does not take place over Easter weekend, it sure does bring the holiday to a whole new level. Some of the bar stops include Croc Rock, Grace O’Malley’s, Tequila Jacks, Cabin 5, Dublin Calling, Orchid, Fiction, and Office Pub.
