This. Is. BIG!

Bestival delivered great news this morning with the long-awaited headliner announcement for their upcoming Toronto festival. Much to the delight of fans, English rock band The Cure and Australian psych-rock group Tame Impala are now set to be hitting the stage June 11 and 12 at Woodbine Park in Toronto.

The festival’s curator, Rob Da Bank, shared his excitement about today’s announcement, which has been months in the making.

“With a beautiful new site, and so much love emanating from Toronto we needed some big headliners,” he said in a statement. “The Cure and Tame Impala more than fit the bill; two of the best live acts I’ve ever seen from totally different eras. It’s on. See you in T-Dot!”

More artist announcements will be unveiled in the next few weeks, leading right up until the festival.

Once on the grounds, festivalgoers will once again be able to experience a number of exciting installations and meet-ups in between acts, including a Bollywood temple, costume party and parade, circus troupes and a special Day of the Dead cocktail bus.

If the response so far is any indication, Bestival Toronto is set to have its best year yet. Don’t miss out! A special presale is on now, but tickets go on sale to the general public on March 14.
